Farnely Selkie (Farnley  Frere Jacques x Farnley Fay) stands 13.0 hh.  Selkie is a champion in hand and perhaps the epitome of a child's pony.  This mare drives, trails, rides sidesaddle, swims, jumps and baby sits children while entertaining them endlessly.  Selkie took on the task of raising my three daughters and did a commendable job.  She taught each of them their leads, how to fall off and how to show hunter pony.  Selkie is irreplaceable.

Sadly Selkie passed away on September 12, 2003.  She has left behind 2 sons to continue her legacy of raising great children.
