Melanie Lovejoy riding 5 year old Glynmagic Brigadier AKA Dreamboat (Full brother to one of our ponies listed below for sale)

Prices are subject to increase as young stock matures and their training and experience progresses.  Our weanling prices start at $5000 for small and medium ponies.  Because we are Welsh pony breeders, not pony/horse traders, we rarely have "made ponies" (ponies with years of riding mileage behind them) for sale.  We offer child friendly young stock at various stages of training.  Occasionally we offer breeding stock for sale to serious breeders however we generally geld all colts unless we are retaining something for our future use.

Glynmagic ponies are bred first and foremost for temperament and performance.  All ponies at Glynmagic are up-to-date on rotational wormers and annual WNV,  Rabies, Tetanus, Influenza, Eastern & Western Encephalomyelitis booster vaccinations.

At Glynmagic we make every effort to match the pony to the family.  If you don't see what you need please give us a call @ 724/847-7727 .  If we don't have the pony you need we may know someone who does.  Occasionally we are considering selling a pony we haven't placed on our sales page.

Glynmagic Marengo

$15,000

Large, 2003 Grey Section B Welsh Gelding (13.3h as of 5/06)

Glynmagic Copper Comet x Tangwyllt Brigantine (GlanNant Cadence x GlanNant Vela

Marengo will finish a large.  He has great substance.  His sire produces uncomplicated ponies that are simple to train.  His dam throws versatile athletes.  This pony would make a great event pony.  He has a very laid back personality.  Marengo is the easiest pony we have ever started under saddle.

Marengo spent the summer of 2006 at Ballingard Farm located in Great Falls, VA.  He had a wonderful time wowing everyone with his huge stride as well as his daily comic routine.  While free jumping the fences had to be placed based on horse distances because his stride is so long.  Way to go Marengo!

Physical attributes: Huge stride, beautiful natural head carriage, very correct, lovely movement.  Built like a gum-band.

Pedigree Attributes:  Marngo's full brother is currently eventing and winning in Montana/Seattle,WA area against horses and he is only a 13.1+ medium.  His great-granddam, Cwmpennant Carina, was Olympic rider, Greg Best's pony finals winner.

Marengo is currently going very well on the flat; walk,  trot, canter and poles.  He is also practicing lower level gymnastic jumping, which he seems to love.  He loves the trails.  He grew up in a 20 acre valley with streams, waterfalls, and steep trails.  He will take you anywhere and go over anything.  Marengo does need spurs.  He acts like he is 10 not 3.  He would suit a beginner rider with a trainer as is.  Marengo has returned to the Pittsburgh. PA area for the "06 winter.

Large, 2003 13.3 1/2h Chestnut Section B Welsh Pony Gelding

Glynmagic Copper Comet x Bristol Gypsy Rose {GlanNant Tango x Lithgow Wishnik x Cusop Sheriff}

   2005 Photo

Sport, as he is known at Glynmagic, is a 2003 chestnut Section B Welsh Pony gelding.  He is built for the hunters with no knee and a long ground covering stride but will just as easily event.  Sport is 13.3 & 1/2h as of 5/14/06.  Lara was home for Mother's day and started this fellow under saddle.  He loves to lead the way on trail rides crossing streams and roads which shows his independence .  He is progressing nicely and will be a lovely large that won't require the youngster be a small professional rider to handle him.  New pictures will be coming soon as he has filled out nicely since last summer.

Glynmagic Sweet Talki'n Guy

$10,000

                        Yearling picture

As a foal, Sweet Talk'N Guy was always following the ladies around and we never quite knew who was going to be his best girl for the day!  He is turning grey and looking like he will be a large.  He has AWESOME movers on both the top and bottom of his pedigree.  Guy was started under saddle over Thanksgiving.

Glynmagic Smooth As Silk

$10,000

2004 Medium, Liver Chestnut, Section B Welsh Pony Gelding

Rosmel's Bey Cracker x Glynmagic Silk Stockings

Pictured as a yearling at 12.2h

Smooth entertains us by jumping out of his 4' high stall "pony friendly" stall when he comes into the barn for a visit.  Obviously he needs to learn to stay put, but at least we know he has the ability to clear a good size fence!  He has hunter movement but probably should event since he's so agile.

Glynmagic I'm So Vain (aka Mick)

$10,000

2004 Grey, Section B Welsh Pony Gelding

Rosmel's Bey Cracker x Glynmagic Katie Scarlet

Photo as a yearling at 12.3h

13.1h as of 6/06

As a yearling Mick loved to play games whether it be playing hard to catch or grabbing his halter and flinging it over his shoulder while he took off for a romp.  As of 6/20/06 Sport has been started under saddle at the walk and trot.  He comes trotting up to us now when we enter the pasture so I assume he enjoys his new job.  Mick has a long stride and no knee so he will make a lovely hunter or eventer.  As of July 4th he will be returned to the pasture to play with his buddies and to continue growing before being seriously ridden in the spring of '07.  We expect Mick will finish a large.

Glynmagic Tiny Dancer

$10,000

Large, 2004 Section B Welsh Pony Filly (13.2 &1/2h as of 5/07)

Glynmagic Copper Comet x Rosmel's Tap Dance (x Rosmel's Bey Cracker)

The above picture was taken in June of '05.  Her sire produces very easily trained ponies.  Her dam is the sweetest and largest mare we have.  Tiny will soon be started under saddle as she desperately needs a job other than following pasture visitors constantly tempting them to take her on a walk about.  Tiny should finish a good size large.

Glynmagic Evita

Glynmagic Eye Candy

$7000

2005 Medium, Bay, Section B Welsh Filly

Rosmel's Bey Cracker x Glynmagic Sorcia

This filly and her half  brother, Walk'N on Sunshine, would make a wonderful driving pair.  They were so similar that both dams gave up trying to sort them and just fed whoever was interested.  Their dams are half-sisters and the weanlings share the same sire.  Walk'N On Sunshine is shown below.
