These pictures updated 8/18/05.  Lucifer is hauled to lessons with our professional trainer.  He has been to his first local show and entered his first walk, trot and canter class in which he actually took a 5th out of about 9.  Lucifer was the only pony in the class and seemed quite cool about the entire process.   He has participated in charity trail rides and while doing so learned bicycles and baby strollers were harmless.  He was a pro at the obstacle that required I take a plastic rain slicker off one tree, place it over my head walk to another tree, remove it and hang it on the 2nd tree.  He carried saddle bags with noisey sleigh bells and walked across narrow wooden bridges that had perfectly fine grass to walk across on either side.  He's not sure we people aren't a tad crazy.  He just wants to please.   Although he has jumped mostly only on trails you can see from this outside course fence (shown above) that he really tucks his knees.  Lucy is an honest mount that would love to go home with a little eventer.
