Glynmagic Welsh Ponies : Fox Hunters

-The children's fox hunter is the child's trusted partner as he or she learns about the great sport.  These ponies are often very rare and therefore difficult to find.  We offer a few ponies that we have decided have the fantastically relaxed and gentle disposition and carefully put them through the paces.  They have at three hunts under their belts and never made a wrong move.  These ponies do not kick, are wonderful to the hounds, stand at checks, open gates, cross water, & jump. Their training is serious and we don't mess around when ensuring that they can successfully handle all situations that may arise in the hunt field.

Glynmagic Nosegay (Lithgow Houdini x Bristol Rachel-Rachel) 12.1 hh Grey, section A welsh mountain pony.   Currently fox hunting with Snickersville Hounds in Middleburg, VA. She was made for this job!  Nosegay is extremely safe and easy-going.  More information on the sales page.  She has some show experience including Leadline at The Upperville Horse & Colt Show.  Nosegay ponies, jumps up to 2'9" and crosses ANYTHING.  She may or may not need anti-grazing reins depending on the level of rider.

Glynmagic Fan Dance a.k.a. Fara (Rosmel's Cotillion x Bristol Lotus) 13.1 & 1/2hh, 8 y.o., grey, Section B Welsh Pony Fara is quickly working her way into my list of my favorites. Her pleasant demeanor and work ethic make her a joy to ride. Add to that her great movement and easy jump and you have the whole package. This pony is going to be a packer. She is fantastic on the trail, will make an awesome & hardy field hunter while at the same time she'll be competitive in the hunter and sport arenas. If you are looking for a pony to fill many facets this beautiful mare is the answer. Fara's sire alone makes her a valuable addition to any barn. Cotillion is known nationally for producing great children's mounts. He is the sire of our herd stallion, Rosmel's Bey Cracker. Fara's confirmation leaves nothing to be desired. She has excellent balance from the neck to back, loin and hip which translates through to her easy balance in the arena. She will fox hunt this fall several times and attend some schooling shows.
